Answer:

The answer is 90.

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the greatest common factor of 270 and 360.

270 = 3 x 3 x 3 x 2 x 5 or in exponent form : 3^{3}*2*5

360 = 3 x 3 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 or in exponent form : 3^{2}*2^{3}*5

As we can see that the greatest common factor is = 3 x 3 x 2 x 5 = 90 or in exponent form this can be written as : 3^{2}*2*5=90

Therefore, the greatest common factor is 90.

2x-3y=42 solve for y
PtichkaEL [24]

Answer:

y=14+(2/3x)

Step-by-step explanation:

Your main goal is to get Y by itself on one side.

To start subtract 2x from both sides. This will give you -3y=42-2x.

Then you divide both sides by -3 to get Y by itself.

That will leave you with ...

y=14+(2/3x)

(remember the negatives cancel each other out)
