Now, subtract 1st from 2nd, 
44y = 6.60
y = 6.60 / 44
y = 0.15

Substitute it in second equation, 
2x + 10(0.15) = 3.60
2x = 3.60 - 1.5
x = 2.10 / 2
x = 1.05
