This would be a lunar eclipse.

Explanation:

When the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, the directly light from the Sun is blocked and the Moon is illuminated by the light reflect of of Earth called Earthshine.

A solar eclipse happens when the disk of the Moon passes in front of the Sun and darkens part of the surface of the Earth.

A transit is the movement of a planet across the face of the Sun. From Earth we can observe transits of Mercury and Venus, but these planets are fall to small and far away to block the entire face of the Sun.
