The pay will be same for 8 months.

Step-by-step explanation:

At Comcast;

Installation fee =$60

Per month charges = $50.45

Let,

x be the number of months,

C(x) = 60+50.45x

At AT&T;

Per month charges = $57.95

A(x) = 57.95x

When the amount will be same,

C(x)=A(x)

60+50.45x=57.95x\\60=57.95x-50.45x\\60=7.5x\\7.5x=60

Dividing both sides by 7.5

\frac{7.5x}{7.5}=\frac{60}{7.5}\\x=8

The pay will be same for 8 months.

The domain of the function, y=2x+4 is {3, 5,6,8}. Identify the range
polet [3.4K]

Domain is the x-values

Range is the y-values

To identify the range, plug in the x-values they gave you into the equation to find its y-value

x = 3

y = 2x + 4       Plug in 3 for x

y = 2(3) + 4

y = 10

x = 5

y = 2x + 4    Plug in 5 for x

y = 2(5) + 4

y = 10 + 4

y = 14

x = 6

y = 2x + 4       Plug in 6 for x

y = 2(6) + 4

y = 16

x = 8

y = 2x + 4      Plug in 8 for x

y = 2(8) + 4

y = 20

The range is {10, 14, 16, 20}
