There are 50% chances of a gamete receiving mother's chromosome.

Explanation:

In the process of reproduction, the male gamete (sperm) and female gamete (ovum) fuses to form a zygote. In humans, the zygote has 46 chromosomes out of which 23 chromosomes come from father and 23 chromosomes comes from mother. The contribution of the number of chromosomes from both mother and father is equal.

Thus, there are 50% chances of a gamete receiving mother's chromosome. However, we carry more of mother's genes than the father's because genes present in mitochondria is transferred only from our mother.

A gamete is randomly getting a copy of a chromosome from its mother and father. This means that gamete will get #1 from the mother and the next chromosome will be a pure chance of getting chromosome #2 from mother or father.

Explanation:

 • Meiosis is the process that separates the two chromosomes and giving one copy of each to the gamete. This is the reason why egg and sperm together are forming zygote which is diploid.
 • The main advantage of sexual reproduction is that each clone is different. Each and every egg is different from each other. This is the same in the case of sperm too.
 • At the end of meiosis, males will have 1 cell with 4 sperms all are different in nature, but in females, it will one egg because, during cell division, one cell will hog the cytoplasm.

pav-90 [236]

Answer: 4 codon

Explanation:

We have two important data, that a molecule brought from Mars uses only three bases (A, C and T) and that it has 30 amino acids

Knowing that to encode 30 amino acids with 3 bases, you need to have 4 bases in your codon.

We have the possibility that having 4 bases can be encoded enough like this:

3 ^ 4 = 81.

however if we do the same procedure with 3 basic codons we will get an insufficient result

 3 ^ 3 = 27

so the most likely codon number is 4

3. How can diversity within an ecosystem be compromised?
Lena [83]

Answer:

O by building structures on natural habitat areas

Explanation:

The diversity within an ecosystem can be compromised by building structures on natural habitat areas.

An ecosystem is part of the environment made up of living and non-living components in their natural habitats.

 • Diversity entails variations in the life forms within a particular ecosystem.
 • When human-induced pressure begins to impact the environment, diversity is threatened
 • Nature has its balancing effect the allow for a wide range of organisms to thrive.
 • When human builds structures, part of the natural habitat is lost.

Stells [14]

The cytoplasm consists of a transparent liquid called cytosol, a supportive cytoskeleton and networks of membranes and organelles.

Reason :

The portion of the cytoplasm surrounding organelles is known as cytosol, which is that the liquid a part of the cytoplasm. it's composed of about 80 percent water and also contains dissolved salts, fatty acids, sugars, amino acids, and proteins like enzymes

What do i cell the fluid in the cytoplasm?

The cytoplasm is that the gel-like fluid inside the cell. it is the medium for chemical reaction. It provides a platform upon which other organelles can operate within the cell. All of the functions for cell expansion, growth and replication are administered within the cytoplasm of a cell.

What is the clear liquid in the cytoplasm called?

The cytosol, also referred to as cytoplasmic matrix or groundplasm, is one among the liquids found inside cells (intracellular fluid (ICF))

What is cytoplasm made up of?

Cytoplasm is that the gelatinous liquid that fills the inside of a cell. it's composed of water, salts, and various organic molecules. Some intracellular organelles, such the nucleus and mitochondria, are enclosed by membranes that separate them from the cytoplasm

What is cytoplasm ?

It is a fluid that fills the cell and occurs between the plasma membrane and the nucleus. Cell organelles like mitochondria, ribosomes, Golgi bodies, etc., are suspended within the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm helps within the exchange of materials between cell organelles.
