From this dialogue, we can conclude that she rejected him because he is too interested in money.
She says that 'passion' is his master now, and that it engrossed him - the word passion here refers to greed, not any romantic feelings. He became in love with his money rather than her, which is why she broke up with him. His life started spiraling at that moment, until he actually became the Scrooge.

<span>This quote, from Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, comes from the protagonist, Dr. Frankenstein himself. He is describing the fury that led him to create his monster, how alchemy drove him beyond the normal acceptable limits of human nature. It is a classic example of the "overreacher", as Frankenstein seeks, through science, to transcend the earthly limits of life and death. It must be noted as well that Frankenstein does not attempt this with evil intentions, but almost naively, thinking that he is doing good.</span>

In what ways do you think bribery encourage transgression? explain
BabaBlast [244]

a transegression is the act of going against the law bribery can encourage it simply because its in the same realm of a transegression kind of like "yolo" you only live once. goto collerado<im sure i spelled that wrong> smoke some weed.

anyways it can encourage bad things on us because well 1 were either to deep in the situation or 2 we have no way of getting the thing we want. its kind of a trade at that point . how desperate can you make the victim is the real question( desperation is caused by wants drugs alcohol and sexual pleasure in some cases) really anything that feeds off of emotions like hope.

the onslaught can play with the victims heart emotions and personal devotions by either threatening another think about bank robberies in movies.
