Amigo- is a word used in Spanish for friend, which is supposedly used in English also meaning for friend. However when someone who speaks English uses the word Amigo they use it more like slang. In Spanish Amigo is friend, and compañera/o means more of an acquaintance. There is also colega which means colleague, compadre can also be used as spanish slang for friend. Amigote is another word for Amigo.

Which tener idiom best completes this sentence ? mike ___ de cometer errores cuando habla espanol
inna [77]

Answer:

The conjugation of "tener" that best completes the sentence is:

- Mike <u>tiene verguenza</u> de cometer errores cuando habla español.

Explanation:

The sentence translates in English: Mike is ashamed to make mistakes when he speaks Spanish, the other options are: is right  (<em>it isn't applied because would mean that is right by making mistakes, which is contradictory)</em>, wants (<em>it isn't applied because would mean that Mike wants to make mistakes, something out of place</em>)  and be careful (<em>could be used if the sentence was written in this form: Mike is careful not to make mistakes when he speaks Spanish</em>).
