Answer:

He spent $142 less than budgeted for these two months

Step-by-step explanation:

Rafiq Jackson’s monthly budget allows him to spend a monthly average of $175 for groceries. In August he spent $85 and in September he spent $123

Monthly average is $175

For 1 month he is allowed to spend 175 dollars

August he spent $85 which is less than monthly average 175

Remaining amount he can spend in August is 175 - 85= 90

September he spent $123 which is less than monthly average 175

Remaining amount he can spend in September is 175 - 123= 52

remaning amount = 90+ 52= 142

He spent $142 less than budgeted for these two months

Jerry is trying to earn two hundred nine dollars for some new video games. if he charges forty-seven dollars to mow a lawn, how
qwelly [4]

We could represent this as an equation:

47x = $209, where x is the number of lawns mowed.

What we could do is divide 209 by 47 to find out how many lawns Jerry would need to mow. This would give us about 4.4 (when rounded). Since Jerry has to mow entire lawns, we would have to round that up to 5 lawns. Jerry would earn $235 for those, which is more than enough for those new video games.

Is the fraction 4/7 = 8/12?
qaws [65]

4/7 is not equal to 8/12. It is not equal because if you 4x2= 8 is equal but if you do 7x?= 12 it would be a decimal and you need equal numbers to make it a equivalent fraction. If it was 4/7= 8/14 that would be equivalent.

Hope I helped! : -)
