Answer:

The right answer is letter B.

Explanation:

The 1rst willow (who's the main character) is comparing love to the young willow. He's talking from his experience and we can assume he's wise because of his age. He's also reminded of himself by the young willow; who is also shimmering; suffering alone (at the bare woods' edge).

Taking all this into consideration, we can say that the poem supports the theme: "love must be nurtured in order to grow".

Alexus [3.1K]
From the excerpt of "Dover Beach" by Matthew Arnold, the line "...on the French coast, the light/Gleams and is gone..." obviously symbolizes the impermanence of life. The light on the French coast is like an opportunity presented to us, once. We must be ready once this opportunity comes.

If you were to write a poetic tribute, how would you personify the spirit of the united state today?
Romashka [77]

Poetic tribute about the spirit of the United States:

My nation is for adoration

So state its valleys

Where old waterways stream

The round trip of life

Under the pleased eye of winged creatures

Embellishing the sky.

O wonderful for roomy skies,

For golden floods of grain,

For purple mountain majesties

Over the fruited plain!

Love America Love America once more.

Love the fantasy it used to be.

Love the pioneer on the plain

Looking for a home where the Mind smiles

Be that as it may, the most bizarre thing yet was a fly without wings

Once as a fly it played in the stars

Singing, with open mouths, with happy soul for the country!
