Answer:

To kill the bacteria present in the meat, is the correct answer.

Explanation:

According to USDA recommendations, the ground beef should be properly cooked before eating. USDA recommends it because E. Coli and Salmonella bacteria can get into the beef and contaminate it during the meat's production and supply chain. The meat is easily susceptible to contamination. Although the bacteria is harmless it can multiply rapidly at temperatures above 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooking the meat at high temperatures can kill the bacteria.

Westkost [7]

Correlation is not causation is my immediate reaction.

To be more in depth, this is a silly oversimplification that ignores increased use of drugs and the general problems that go along with the war on drugs.

Which did President Kennedy send to the universities of Alabama and Mississippi in 1963?
Montano1993 [528]
President Kennedy sent federal troops to the University of Alabama and the University of Mississippi.

Racist policies in the south were preventing black citizens from access to education. The governor of Alabama, George Wallace, was supporting the racial policies of the university. President Kennedy forced him to back down by calling out the Alabama National Guard in 1963.

The reference to Mississippi would seem to be to events that occurred actually in October, 1962. President Kennedy ordered 23,000 federal troops be deployed to the University of Mississippi to bring an end to rioting by students who were protesting the admission of a black student.
