Answer:

-The hieroglyphs were a writing system invented by the ancient Egyptians. It was used from the pre-dynastic period until the fourth century.

It is characterized by the use of signs, whose meaning is known thanks to the deciphering of the texts contained in the Rosetta Stone, which was found in 1799.

-The Egyptian demotic term refers to both the writing and the Egyptian language that emerged in the last stage of Ancient Egypt. To write it, demotic ideographic writing was used. It is derived from the hieratic used in the Nile delta.

It began to be used around 660 BC and became the dominant writing of Ancient Egypt around 600 BC. At the beginning of the 4th century it was replaced by the Greek language in the official texts; its last known use was in the year 452, engraved on the walls of the temple dedicated to Isis, in Phile.
