Context is crucial in order to comprehend a story.

Historical content is a major factor in literature and writing, otherwise,  stories, memories and characters will have less importance. Context refers to the social, religious, monetary, and political conditions that existed in a specific time and place.  No work of writing can be completely valued or understood without history.

Context may refer also to the life of the author at the moment of writing the story, in order to understand a little bit more which message he or she is trying to convey.

Then, the Drafting step, where the author starts to organize its ideas and have a clear picture of the order of its writing. Then, the Revising step, when it has to double-check its work. The writer has to confirm that its ideas are clear for the type of audience. Then the Editing step, where it can ask somebody else to check its work and make corrections.
