Given: ∠TUW ≅ ∠SRW; RS ≅ TU Prove: ∠RST ≅ ∠UTS Complete the paragraph proof: It is given that ∠TUW ≅ ∠SRW and RS ≅ TU. Because ∠

RWS and ∠UWT are vertical angles and vertical angles are congruent, ∠RWS ≅ ∠UWT. Then, by AAS, △TUW ≅ △SRW. Because CPCTC, SW ≅ TW and WU ≅ RW. Because of the definition of congruence, SW = TW and WU = RW. If we add those equations together, SW + WU = TW + RW. Because of segment addition, SW + WU = SU and TW + RW = TR. Then by substitution, SU = TR. If segments are equal, then they are congruent, so SU ≅ TR. Because of , △TRS ≅ △SUT, and because of , ∠RST ≅ ∠UTS.

Answer: The paragraph proof is mentioned below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, Given: ∠TUW ≅ ∠SRW

And, RS ≅ TU

Where W is the intersection point of line segments TS and RU.

We have to prove that: ∠RST ≅ ∠UTS

Since, In triangles TUW and SRW

∠RWS ≅ ∠UWT ( Because they are vertical angles)

RS ≅ TU ( given)

∠TUW ≅ ∠SRW ( given)

Then, by AAS, △TUW ≅ △SRW.

Because of CPCTC, ∠RST ≅ ∠UTS

Btw John makes 9$ an hour and amber makes 8$ an hour. REMEMBER TO ANSWER IN MINUTES NOT HOURS.
yarga [219]
Hello there! Provided the information, we know that the nearest multiple of 8 and 9 has to be greater than 50. 8 and 9 do not go into 50.

$9 • 6 hours = $54

$8 • 7 hours = $56

There are 60 minutes in an hour, so we can multiply accordingly:

60 minutes • 6 hours = 360 minutes

60 minutes • 7 hours = 420 minutes

Your final answers are:

It will take John 360 minutes to earn $50.

It will take Amber 420 minutes to earn $50.

(P.S. It takes Amber one more hour to earn $50 than it does for John to earn $50.)

Hope this helps!

1. 840 brushes decreased by 25%
tigry1 [53]
Explaining? Simple!

1. In order to find the answer you simply change 25% to decimal form then multiply by your brushes. Then subtract your value from the original:

25% ⇒ .25 [Note: All percentages are less than one]

[840 x .25] = 210

[840 - 210] = 630.

840 decreased by 25% is 630.

2. For this one, you do the exact same thing as the first one, except you add since it is being increased. So convert 7% to decimal form and then multiply it by your money. The add this value to the original:

7% ⇒ .07 [*Note*: This is 7% not 70%]

[84 x .07] = 5.88

[84 + 5.88] = $89.88. (Don't forget to add your symbols!).

$84 increased by 7% is $89.88!
