Once the organisms are able to perform photosynthesis, the next step is that they need to use the created sugars from it to convert them into energy. The sugars combined with oxygen produce the energy for growth, thus we can say in this case that the increase of carbon dioxide has increased the amount of photosynthesis, which increased the amount of respiration.

2. The steady increase of the carbon dioxide will result in higher temperatures because it is a greenhouse gas that has the ability to trap the heat. This means that organisms that are better suited for warmer climates will thrive, while the others will either have to adapt, or go extinct. Also, the higher amount of carbon dioxide and warmer weather conditions will result in longer growing season, thus more producers will be able to thrive as the carbon dioxide is crucial for them to perform photosynthesis.
