1. The process of photosynthesis and respiration are often found in the same organisms, so they are directly connected. In this case, we have significant increase in the levels of carbon dioxide, and carbon dioxide is a crucial element in the process of photosynthesis. The more carbon dioxide there is, the more organisms can perform photosynthesis. Once the organisms are able to perform photosynthesis, the next step is that they need to use the created sugars from it to convert them into energy. The sugars combined with oxygen produce the energy for growth, thus we can say in this case that the increase of carbon dioxide has increased the amount of photosynthesis, which increased the amount of respiration.

2. The steady increase of the carbon dioxide will result in higher temperatures because it is a greenhouse gas that has the ability to trap the heat. This means that organisms that are better suited for warmer climates will thrive, while the others will either have to adapt, or go extinct. Also, the higher amount of carbon dioxide and warmer weather conditions will result in longer growing season, thus more producers will be able to thrive as the carbon dioxide is crucial for them to perform photosynthesis.

3. If the population of cyanobacteria starts to increase dramatically, then the area will experience multiple changes. The cyanobacteria will extract large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, thus lowering its levels, while in the same time releasing large amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere. The graph will start to look much different as the carbon dioxide curve will be heading downward, and if the trend continues it will go even lower than its starting point of measurement in 1958, resulting in colder weather conditions and changes in the environment.

Answer:

1. Photosynthetic organism are less in number as compared to organism performing respiration Or the rate of process of photosynthesis  is lesser than the rate of process of respiration.

2. Oxygen may get deficient

3. Concentration of oxygen in atmosphere  and the population of cyanobacteria will increase.

Explanation:

1. Since the carbon dioxide concentration has increased rapidly from years thus the rate at which carbon dioxide is consumed by organisms  performing photosynthesis is much lower than the rate at which carbon dioxide is produced by the organisms  performing respiration. This also implies that might be the number of organisms  performing photosynthesis are less than the number of organisms  performing respiration.

2.

Increase in carbon dioxide may prove beneficial for photosynthetic organism as it may increase their productivity but for res-pirating organism it may lead to deficiency of pure oxygen enriched air. Also , it may cause increase in temperature of earth.

3.

Cyano bacteria have chlorophyll thus they can convert carbon dioxide into oxygen and hence the concentration of oxygen in atmosphere will increase with time and also the population of cyanobacteria will increase.
