1.Explain energy flow from producer to consumer.
Anestetic [448]

Answer:

1. Ecologists call this one-way flow of matter and energy from a producer to a primary, then to secondary, and perhaps to a tertiary consumer, a food chain. ... ~ Single food chains do not show all the feeding relationships in ecosystems. The food web shows all the organisms at each feeding level or trophic level.

2. Energy flows through an ecosystem in one direction: from producer to primary consumer to secondary consumer to higher consumers. A biomass pyramid provides a picture of the feeding and nergy relationships within a food web and the direction of the flow of energy.

What factors contributed to the United States becoming a world leader?
polet [3.4K]

Answer;

D. the United States suffering no war damage and having a strong economy

Explanation;

-The industrial revolution really caught the US up in the global scheme of things, but it was WWII that put the US (and the Soviet Union) in the forefront as leaders of the world.

-After the war,the US economy was really boosted, while Europe's was practically in shambles. Also, because the US helped Europe significantly in both world wars, it received kind of a morale/self-esteem boost of sorts. Moreover, because the country wasn't physically involved in the war, it didn't have to deal with repairing its land.
