the north ans south both had a lot going for both of them but the north had the advantage over the south because most of the factorys were in the north ans there were some in the south and when the civil war began the north had people that really wanted to end all of the slavery and the south did to when the war ended the south had lost a lot of there lad because almost all of the wars were fought in the south
