Answer:

  • <u>Atherosclerosis:</u>

The Atherosclerosis, is the disorder in which the narrowing of the arteries occurs and which is mainly due to the damage to the endothelium layer of the arteries. Which is caused by the deposition of the fat and cholesterol materials in the blood vessels, causing the blockage in the system.

  • <u>LDL:</u>

Low density Lipo-protein are called as "the bad cholestrol". As the lipo-protein serves as the function for the transportation of the fat molecules in the body through the extracellular water medium.

Explanation:

  • <u>Coronary Angiography:</u>

The medical procedure to analyze or measure the amount of blood flow inside the heart or mainly in the coronary arteries of the heart (arteries), by using the special contrast medium and x-rays is called as coronary angiography.

  • The main function of the coronary arteries in the blood circulation system is to supply oxygenated blood to the heart muscles. As they provide the energy to the heart pumping mechanism.
  • <u>Obstruction of Coronary artery:</u>

The obstruction of the coronary artery can cause very chronic and life threatening disorders and can increase the risk of having the heart attack(which means the heart is no more supplied by oxygenated blood)so, the heart is no more able to performs its work properly its unable to perform its function in a proper manner.

Some of the causes are due to the deposition of the cholesterol, fat,  in the arteries, which causes the narrowing of the arteries inside the blood circulation system. The deposition of the cholesterol is termed as Atherosclerosis.

  • <u>Myocardial infarction:</u>

Causes of the Atherosclerosis leads to many disorders but the main cause of the disorder is the Heart attack or in the medical term is called as myocardial infraction.

Please help . - How do scientist explain the incomplete fossil record? A) The fossil record is limited to fossilized animals and
stich3 [128]

Answer:

Option C.

Scientist explain the incomplete fossil record because not all organisms become fossils. Processes like erosion and mountain building can change rock layers, causing fossils to be spread over multiple layers or destroyed.

Explanation:

  • Fossils are the remains of organisms that are found on the rocks after they die.
  • So, no one can be 100% sure about the complete fossil record because of the continuous process like erosion and other natural calamities.
  • The sediment must cover any organism's remains to start the fossilization process to start. Most of the organisms start decomposing  before this process can be executed.

The value of ∆G for a chemical reaction taking place in an organism is −255 kJ. Which of the following best describes how this w
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

D. The reaction will release energy the organism can use to do work.

Explanation:

A negative ∆G means that the products have less free energy than their reactants. This energy had to go somewhere, it can't just disappear. That means that 255kJ of energy was released, turning into free energy for the organism to use for work.

Name the quadrant(s) (RUQ, LUQ, RLQ, and LLQ) and region(s) (right hypochondriac, epigastric, left hypochondriac, right lumbar,
andreev551 [17]

Answer:Answer: 1) (a) The left lobe of the Liver is located in Left Upper Quadrant while the main part of the Liver is located in the Right Upper Quadrant.

(b) The liver is located in both the right hypochondriac region and the epigastric region

2) (a) The stomach is is located in the Left Upper Quadrant (LUQ)

(b) The stomach is majorly located in the epigastric region and the Left Hypochondriac Region.

3) (a)The Spleen is located at the Left Upper Quadrant (LUQ)

(b) The regions the Spleen are located at are the Left Hypochondriac Region, Epigastric Region and Left Lumbar

4) (a) The Gall Bladder is located at the Right Upper Quadrant

(b) The Gall Bladder is located at the Right Hypochondriac Region and the Right Lumbar Region.

5) (a)The Appendix is located in the Right Lower Quadrant

(b) The Appendix is located in the Right Iliac region.

6) (a) The Left kidney is located at the Left Upper Quadrant

(b) The left kidney cuts across the Left Hypochondriac Region, Right Lumbar and the Left Lumbar.

7) (a) The right Ovary is located at the Right Lower Quadrant

(b) The region of the right ovary is the hypogastric region.

8) (a) The Uterus is located at both the Right Lower Quadrant and Left Lower Quadrant.

(b) The Uterus is located in the hypogastric region of the abdomen.

Explanation: In medicine, the practitioners divide the lower part of the body known as the 'abdomen' with imaginary lines ( one vertical and one horizontal) to form the 'Quadrants' and (two vertical and two horizontal) the 'Regions'. The Quadrants are divided into four main parts:

1) Left Upper Quadrant (LUQ)

2) Right Upper Quadrant (RUQ)

3) Left Lower Quadrant (LLQ)

4) Right Lower Quadrant (RLQ)

The regions are divided into nine parts:

1) Left Hypochondriac Region

2) Right Hypochondriac Region

3) Epigastric Region

4) Left Lumbar Region

5) Right Lumbar Region

6) Umbilical Region

7) Right Iliac/Inguinal Region

8) Left Iliac/Inguinal Region

9) Hypogastric Region.

The abdomen is divided into regions in order to help medical practitioners and students easily understand the abdominal area of the body as well as the human anatomy. It also helps them provide preliminary diagnosis and treatment based on pain emanating from each region or quadrant.

1. What does the electric field strength
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

Option A. magnitude

Explanation:

Electric field is the area around the electric current where its effect is observed. If the lines of electric field are close to each other, it means electric field is stronger and if the lines are far away from each other so it indicates that the electric field is weak. There is inverse relationship between electric field and distance from the charge. If the distance is higher, so the electric field is weak and vice versa.
