Will give brainlisy Is this a good story started? dose it grab your attraction
Olenka [21]
Walking down the endless road to my apartment, I just couldn’t stop thinking about work. It was freezing cold and hard to see through the blizzard. The snow beneath me was like an egg shell making crunching noise at every step I took. Finally, I had reached my doorstep. As I wrapped my hand around the frostbitten doorknob, a sweep of fresh warm air thrusted past my body. Struggling, I closed the door behind me.

Hope that helps :)

Which set of lines from Thomas Hardy's poem "A Meeting with Despair" shows that the poet finds some hope amidst the despair?
Maslowich
In the third stanza, the reader finds evidence that the speaker finds some hope.

In these lines, the speaker notes the contrast between the black night of the moor and "the ray-lit clouds." Upon seeing the sky, the speaker notes "There's solace everywhere!"

Solace means comfort, so here the speaker is finding some comfort despite the despair he feels is all around him.
