Why did thomas jefferson question his right to buy the Louisiana Territory

History

Thomas Jefferson questioned his right to buy the Louisiana Territory as the United States Constitution did not directly address the acquisition of land by the President.

The Federalists were clamoring that the Louisiana Purchase was unconstitutional but the Democratic Republicans believed it was permissible as it was merely a treaty.

The actions of Al Qaeda have had the BIGGEST impact on which of these?
Alexeev081 [22]
I need the choices; but basically Al Qaeda is a terrorist group responsible for 9/11. So they are honestly the reason that we have to go through so much security when we go on airplanes. It's also the reason we have 9/11 as a holiday and have a memorial museum dedicated to that unfortunate day. If you told me the choices I could help though!

He had food, clothes, and water for the next 250 kilometers. Could he make it? Yes, he could. While he waited for the race to begin, Victor's heart pounded. Above the desert, wispy clouds crossed the deep blue sky.
