HOPE  is a type of Educational scholarship which is administered by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) and is funded entirely by revenue from the Georgia Lottery .

Explanation:

This scholarship  is available only to degree-seeking undergraduate students who meet the definition of a Georgia Resident for HOPE Scholarship Purposes.

The term HOPE  stands for <u>Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationall</u>y - It has  had three goals:

 

  • <u>Rewarding Achievement </u>-By improving the education quality
  • <u>Affordable Education:</u>Giving students an opportunity to afford a college education .
