Important crop plant such as wheat and corn do not have useful relationship with rhizoba . Instead they rely on nitrates in the

soil as a source of nitrogen . Fertilizers are used to increase the nitrate concentration of the soil and increase crop yield . Explain how crop rotation will help in this sitiuation

Answer:

Crop rotation will help in fixing the nitrate in the agricultural field with the help of rhizoba bacteria

Explanation:

The crops of  wheat and corn do not have any relationship with the rhizobia which means they depend on soil for their nitrate requirement.

Now Rizhoba interacts with the leguminous crops such as pulses to capture the atmospheric nitrogen and convert & store it as nitrates with in the roots of leguminous crops.

Thus, in order to get nitrate from soil for wheat and corn crop, leguminous crop must be grown before these two crops in the field so that rizhoba fixes sufficient nitrate in the soil . In this way crop rotation will enhance the yield of wheat and corn

Convection about the city
julsineya [31]

Convection- is the heat transfer due to the bulk movement of molecules within fluids such as gases and liquids, including molten rock. Convection includes sub-mechanisms of advection, and diffusion.

Explanation:

Cities become warmer than their rural surroundings due to buildings, roads and other infrastructure replacing open land and vegetation. “Surfaces that were once permeable and moist,” writes the“become impermeable and dry.”

During the daylight hours, temperatures inside large cities range between 1.8 and 5.4 degrees F warmer than their surrounding areas. At night, city temperatures can be as much as 22 degrees F warmer.

This phenomenon was believed to be the result of concrete and other structures absorbing heat throughout the day and then gradually releasing it at night. But a new study published last week in the journal Nature offers a different explanation: Convection.

How air moves through a city during the day has a greater role in trapping heat, the study claims, than the disappearance of vegetation and the existence of urban structures.

Explain how strong acids differ from strong bases in reference to H+ and OH+ ions stating whether there is a lot or a little in
Ierofanga [76]

Answer and explanation;

-Strong acids and bases are defined as compounds that completely ionize in water or aqueous solution. Weak acids and bases only partially dissociate.

A strong acid will fully dissociate in water to form H+ ions.

HCl + H2O---> H3O+ + Cl-

This reaction is non-reversible. After dissolution, only a very very minute concentration of HCl itself remains in the solution, as most of the diluted HCl  has dissolved into ions.

Ka = [H+] [Cl-] / [HCl]

The same applied for bases. The only difference is that the base dissociates to form OH- ions instead.

Strong and weak bases will depend likewise on whether the reaction is reversible.

A strong base will completely dissociate to give more OH- ions.

An example of a strong base;

NaOH + H2O ---> Na+ + OH- + H2O

Kb = [Na+] [OH-] / [NaOH]
