Answer:

They were afraid that he will introduce some type of dictatorship in the country and take the full authority in his hands. Rome was a Republic and people believed that other forms of government are unacceptable.

Explanation:

Julius Caesar was a great warrior, general, even a writer. But, when he emerged as a leading figure in Rome, some people, especially in the Senate were afraid that he will destroy the order in the country. Romans had in their memory a period of Kings that lasted for almost 250 years, and have vowed not to allow anyone to reign as the kings did. That is why some of them plotted to kill Caesar.

How did major strikes prevent large industrial union from maintaining power and influence?
Bumek [7]
Although strikes could be an effective tool in increasing the bargaining power of workers through unions, some very large strikes had the opposite effect, since they would shut down plants that were loved by citizens--turning the citizens anger towards the workers instead of the factories.

How is james madison’s plan for “ambition to counteract ambition” reflected in our system of separated powers?
Allushta [10]
The idea of it is the idea of checks and balances. You separate the three powers and make them powerful. If one does something bad, or tries to, they get countered by another branch. The executive and the legislative choose the judicial, the judicial resolves the executive and the legislative, and so on and so forth, it's like a circle.
