What would happen if there was no condensation stage in the water cycle
BigorU [14]

Condensation is the process by which water vapor is changed back into liquid water. Condensation is very important to our weather and climate because it is what is responsible for cloud formation.

Without clouds, we would not get to the third phase, called precipitation, which we will talk about in a minute. Clouds form when water vapor condenses around small particles, like bits of dust or smoke in the air. Depending on the size of the drops, these particles may or may not be visible. Even on a clear, cloudless day, water vapor is always present in the atmosphere, but it does vary in amounts. We know it is present on a very humid day; it often feels like we need to swim through the air! Fog is condensation near the ground.

Fog forms when moist warmer air comes in contact with cooler air near the surface. Just like when the bathroom mirror gets all foggy during a shower because of condensation, fog also forms because of this warm air contacting a cooler air mass. The fog forms drops in the air rather than on the surface of your mirror.Clouds will be useless since they will not carry and drop water.

A population of beetles exists in which black coloration is dominant to white. If there are 64 black beetles in the population,
levacccp [35]

Answer:

It is impossible to determine the dominant allele frequency from the given information.

Explanation:

There are two equations necessary to solve a Hardy-Weinberg Equilibrium question:

+ = 1

² + 2 + ² = 1

is the frequency of the dominant allele.

is the frequency of the recessive allele.

² is the frequency of individuals with the homozygous dominant genotype.

2 is the frequency of individuals with the heterozygous genotype.

² is the frequency of individuals with the homozygous recessive genotype.

Now, from the question; it says that "A population of beetles exists in which black coloration is dominant to white":

Let B = the black allele &

     b = the white allele.

If there are 64 black bettles in the population, i.e the heterozygous allele B which is :

² + 2(64) + ² = 1

; what is the dominant allele frequency i.e (²)...???

We can deduce from the above that the question only tells the number of black beetles, but does not give any information that would allow us to find the total number of beetles in the population.

Also, we do not have the homozygous recessive population or the distribution of heterozygotes and homozygous dominant beetles. Given information on the number of white beetles would allow us to calculate the recessive allele frequency, and subsequently the dominant allele frequency.

BUT, those informations were not given in the question, as such this question is invalid.

Caryn matured early as an adolescent. Her friend, Wendy was a late-maturing adolescent. Research shows that, as adults Select on
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

The answer is a.)

Explanation:

Since Caryn matured earlier when compared with her friend Wendy, she is more likely to have a higher body mass index than Wendy. This is true because body mass index is a function of weight and height and since Caryn matured earlier, she is more likely to weigh more and be taller than Wendy therefore having a higher body mass index when compared with Wendy. Body mass index (BMI) = Weight/Height^{2} the units are in kg/m^{2}. Options c and d are not correct because education and occupational level has nothing to do with maturity
