r/3 + t = w  to get r by itself (Which I think is your question)

r/3 + t = w  subtract t from both sides

r/3 = w - t  and times by 3 on both sides

r = 3(w-t)

Which of the following is equal to the rational expression when x ≠ -4 or 16?
stepan [7]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\frac{x^2-16}{(x-16)(x+4)}

The numerator is a difference of squares

x² - 16 = (x - 4)(x + 4)

= \frac{(x-4)(x+4)}{(x-16)(x+4) } ← cancel the common factor (x + 4) on numerator/ denominator

= \frac{x-4}{x-16} → C

Two factors of –48 have a difference of 19. The factor with a greater absolute value is positive.
Luden [163]

===>Factors of −48 with smaller absolute value negative:
smaller factor          larger factor           difference
-1                                 48                           49
-2                                 24                           26
-3                                 16                           19

Add: -3 + 16 = 13
Therefore, the answer to this item is letter c.13.

Suppose that in a large class, the instructor announces that the average grade on an exam is 75. Which is more likely to be clos
mario62 [17]

The mean of 10 randomly selected students is definitely more likely to be closer to 75. 10 randomly selected students to include information and are more like to reflect the class’s scores. Consider an extreme example. Seventy-five students in a class of 100 earned perfect scores. The other 25 earned zeros. The average score of the class would be 75. A sample of 10 random students would almost certainly include more 100s then 0s, but both would be included in the sample. The mean of this samples score is closer to 75 than any individuals.
