Answer:

The Ottoman Empire lost its status as a world power when it was defeated in the attempted invasion of the city of Vienna and when it joined Germany in World War I.

Explanation:

The Ottoman Empire or Turkish-Ottoman Empire began around 1300, in what is now the Republic of Turkey and ended at the time of the First World War. The territories comprised part of the Middle East, southeastern Europe and northern Africa. In the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, it was one of the greatest powers in the world and was consolidated with the conquest of regions belonging to the Byzantine Empire.

The Ottoman Empire began to lose power and cease to be considered a power in the late 16th century, when in 1683 the army unsuccessfully attempted to seize the city of Vienna, Austria. The battle started a century of wars with European countries and the Ottoman Empire lost part of its territory. The fall was definitely in the First World War (1914-1918), when the Ottomans allied with Germany and were defeated. Only in 1923 did Turkey emerge, made up of a remnant group of Turks.

10 Points & Brainliest Awarded!

What is an example of federalism in workplaces today?
antoniya [11.8K]

Federalism in a workplace is characterized by equal and responsible distribution of power between a general and a specific base of power.

Explanation:

In an office space, the manager or the executive officer can represent the general authority which is the representation of the union government in the federation. The specific officers working within that manager's scope serve the position of the regional powers or the states.

In this system, it would mean that there is a division of power and that the manager is treated on equal footing in terms of stature with the workers even though their job is to oversee the work.

There would be certain areas where the workers can work unquestioned and some areas where they have to consult the manager.
