The karyotype of cancerous cells is abnormal due to the mutations in the DNA. The cell division that occurs in the cancerous cells is similar to the normal cell division. The only difference lies in the check points. The cancerous cells skip the checkpoints where the errors are checked.

Further Explanation:

A hypothesis is the primary explanation that is formed on the basis of limited evidences that support the investigation.

The picture of a person’s chromosome is known as karyotype. The karyotype of a person can be determined by isolation of chromosomes followed by staining and examination of the chromosomes under microscope. The WBC chromosomes are usually isolated, stained and examined. The examined picture under a microscope is taken and the chromosomes are then arranged in the decreasing order of chromosome size. In a normal cell, the mitosis cell division also known as equational cell division is responsible for the increase in the number of cells. The number of chromosomes after the mitotic cell division remains equal to the initial number of chromosomes. Thus, known as equational cell division. In cancerous cells, the abnormal mitosis cell division occurs in which the cell skips the checkpoints which causes abnormal number of mitotic divisions.

Thus, the karyotype of cancerous cells is abnormal due to the mutations in the DNA. The cell division that occurs in the cancerous cells is similar to the normal cell division. The only difference lies in the check points. The cancerous cells skip the checkpoints where the errors are checked.

Answer:

The cancerous cells go through the cell cycle at a quicker rate in comparison to the normal cells. By doing so, they miss the checkpoints in which errors are checked. They mutate and their mutations mutate and so on that results into various distinct types of mutations, and because of this, the karyotype in cancerous cells is unusual. One may find various kinds of mutations in a cancerous cell, and this is why cancerous cells act distinctly and exhibit various issues related to it.

How would controlling disease In commercial fisheries be both easier and more challenging?
djyliett [7]

Controlling disease in commercial fisheries

Explanation:

Disease outbreaks among fishes reared lead to economic loss to the fish farmers. Optimal conditions of the pond should be maintained to prevent disease spreading.

Control of disease is very challenging because fishes are cultivated in aquaponds at high density which increases direct contact among fishes making way for spread of the disease.

Natural predators will remove infected fish quickly but manual methods are time consuming and not effective.

Various steps which can be followed for prevention of diseases like good water quality, nutrition and sanitation facilities, stocking and storing of fish, recording each detail.

At the same time, disease control can easily be done by reducing the density of the stocks, application of vaccines and antibiotics and other drugs, mechanical administration of drugs, use of probiotics etc.

When potatoes are in the ground, do they swell with water when it rains? If not, how do you explain that, and if so, what would
Alenkinab [10]
When potatoes are in ground, they do not swell with water when it rains. The potato is already filled with water. The potato cannot gather the minerals directly. It is the roots that absorb the nutrients and send it to the potato. The rain water has little effect on the potato. I hope the answer has helped you.
