Answer:

Explanation:

According to Howard Gardner's theory about the multiple intelligences proposed in 1983 in his masterpiece Frame of Mind, where he proposed 8 different kinds of intelligence that include:

Visual-Spatial Intelligence

Linguistic-Verbal Intelligence

Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence

Musical Intelligence

Interpersonal Intelligence

Intrapersonal Intelligence

Naturalistic Intelligence

in order to show real-life examples about his theory, it is possible to mention in the field of Linguistic-Verbal Intelligence some important celebrities such as William Shakespeare and Oprah Winfrey who developed advance Linguistic-Verbal intelligence. People with this kind of intelligence have great verbal and writing capacities to communicate with others.

The Logical-Mathematical Intelligence can be exemplified with important and also very famous characters such as Nikola Tesla and Bill Gates who have had in common a great capacity to develop and understand science in an amazing way through logical reasoning.

And finally, the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence can have an example through Michael Jackson and Usain Bolt, great celebrities in the dancing and sports fields where it is necessary to have a total control of the physical performance.

The theory of Multiple intelligences by Gardner has been a great contribution to the sciences of education, pedagogy, psychology among others. However, it has been criticized by some scientists who believe that multiple intelligences should not be considered as intelligences themselves, but abilities of the human being. Gottfredson, for example, rejects this theory proposing the g factor theory that establishes that people that obtain good results in one of the abilities have also good results in the others.
