20 cm, a parallelograms opposite sides are congeuent( by definiton of a parallelogram). So two sides are 6 cms (12) and the other two are 4 cms (8) which adds to 20

Variable y varies directly with variable x, and y = 5 when x = 8.
qaws [65]
Y = kx

Plug in what we know:

5 = k(8)

5 = 8k

Divide 8 to both sides:

k = 0.625

Plug this back into the equation along with y = 15:

y = kx

15 = 0.625x

Divide 0.625 to both sides:

x = 24

Graph the following equation: y = 5
Irina-Kira [14]

If you graphed the equation: y = 5

You would put a straight line going horizontally through 5. Like this picture shows. If it were x = 5, for example, then it would go up and down through 5.

Let me know if this helped! Have a nice day!

Which of the following is the solution to the following systems of inequalities? (picture included)
Ymorist [56]

Answer:

 C. (see the attachment)

Step-by-step explanation:

Both inequalities include the "or equal to" case, so both boundary lines will be solid. That excludes choices A and D.

The first inequality is plotted the same way in all graphs, so we must look at the second inequality. The relationship of y and the comparison symbol is ...

 -y ≥ (something)

If we multiply by -1, we get ...

 y ≤ (something else)

This means the solution space will be on or below (less than or equal to) the boundary line. This is the shaded area in graph C. (Graph B shows shading above the line.)

___

Further comment

Since the boundary for the second inequality is fairly steep, "above" and "below" the line can be difficult to see. Rather, you can consider the relationship of x to the comparison symbol. For the second inequality, that is ...

 x ≥ (something)

indicating the solution space is on or to the right of the boundary line.

Idk how to solve this exponent problem ?
Wewaii [24]

Answer:256

Step-by-step explanation:To divide power of the same base,subtract the denominator's exponent.Subtract 4 from 7 to get 4.Then calculate 4 to the power of 4 and get 256
