Answer: 0.52

Probability is a ratio of the number of the relevant outcomes and the total number of possible outcomes.

Let us count:

Relevant outcomes:

First pick, followed by second pick:

6 choices of red bell, followed (after replacements) by 6 choices of red bell = 6*6=36 choices

4 choices of silver followed by another 4: 4*4 = 16 choices

so in total there are 36+16=52 relevant choices

Number of all possible choices:

10 possible picks, followed by 10 possible picks: 10*10=100

The probability:

P=\frac{52}{100}=0.52

How many groups of 60 equal 300
hichkok12 [17]
Okay, ask yourself this : how many times does 6 goes into 30?

6 and 1 = 6
6 and 2 = 12
6 and 3 = 18
6 and 4 = 24
6 and 5 = 30

6 goes into 30 a number of 5 times. And so that means that :

60 and 1 make 60.
60 and 2 make 120
60 and 3 make 180.
60 and 4 make 240
60 and 5 make 300

FIVE (5) groups of 60
make 300.

A worker gets $9/hr for a regular work day and $13.50/hr for additional hours. If he was paid $114.75 for an 11hr work day, how
Anika [276]

1. I did 9x8 since you usually work 8 hours a day but did not give answer, so I add or subtracted 0.5 to 8.

2. i did 9*7.5=67.5 , keep in mind that he worked for 11 hrs that day so 11-7.5=3.5 hours left

3. then I subtracted 67.5 from 114.75 and got 47.25

4. I divided 3.5 by 47.25 and got 13.5
