The answer is <span>C) The author can see both positive and negative aspects of social media use in culture today.

The author lists positive aspects through connecting with family, friends, and coworkers instantly, regardless of their location. However, the author also notes that it isn't real-life social interaction, and that online relationships aren't as deep as ones formed with face to face communication.

Based on this passage and the rest of what you’ve read in Monster, do you think Steve is telling the truth on the witness stand?
Irina-Kira [14]

Sample Response: It is hard to say whether Steve is telling the truth. Other characters seem sure that Steve was involved, but he says he was not near the drug store at the time of the robbery. It is strange that he does not remember where he was at the time of the robbery and that he knows so many people connected to the robbery. He was also nervous on the witness stand, but that does not prove he is guilty, because he has lots of reasons to be nervous.

JulijaS [17]

After reading the 2 first paragraph of the memoirs in the “Night”, it could be said that the reader gets the impression that he/she is hearing a cautionary or precocious tale about the dangers of complacency while about to face a great evil.
