36°, 72°, 72°

let x be the third angle then each of the other 2 angles is 2x

the sum of the angles in a triangle = 180° thus

x + 2x + 2x = 180

5x = 180 ( divide both sides by 5 )

x = \frac{180}{5} = 36

the angles are 36°, 72° and 72°

To find angle BCD, find the angle ACB that lies next to it on the straight line first.

Angles in a triangle add up to 180.

To find angle ACB:
180 - 83 - 47 = 50

So angle ACB = 50.

Angles on a straight line add up to 180 as well.

So to find angle BCD:
180 - 50 = 130

So angle BCD = 130, so the answer is D.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 64m and it’s length is 3 times it’s width.what is the length of the rectangle?
Verdich [7]

so umm this is the answer

Perimeter = 2(length + width)

P = 2(L+w)

We are told the length is 3 times the width...

L = 3w

64 = 2(3w + w)

64 = 2(4w)

64 = 8w

8 = w

L = 3w = 3(8) = 24 cm

Length is 24 cm

width is 8 cm
