Answer:

4)2.1

5)34

9)0.055

10)20

Step-by-step explanation:

4) use long division(and remove the decimal from the divisor, hence moving the decimal in the dividend the number of places you moved the decimal in the divisor) : SO 44.1÷21= 2.1

use the same method for the rest

esp remembering what you have to do with the decimal place

hope this helps!

Select the expression that has a value of 96.45
leonid [27]

Given:

Number is 96.45.

To find:

The expression that has a value of 96.45.

Solution:

In option a,

0.9645\times 10^2=0.9645\times 100

0.9645\times 10^2=96.45

In option b,

9.645\div 10^1=\dfrac{9.645}{10}

9.645\div 10^1=0.9645\neq 96.45

In option c,

964.5\times 10^3=964.5\times 1000

964.5\times 10^3=964500\neq 96.45

In option d,

9645\div 10^3=\dfrac{9645}{1000}

9645\div 10^3=9.645\neq 96.45

Therefore, the correct option is a.

A local lake has a fish population that follows a geometric series with these properties first time equals 48 ratio equals 1/4 d
kondaur [170]

Answer:

64.

Step-by-step explanation:

Sigma notation is ∑48(1/4)^(n-1).

Upper limit =   a1 / (1 - r)  where a1 = initial population and r = common ratio.

So it is 48 / (1 - 1/4)

= 48 / 3/4

= 48 * 4/3

= 64.

Pose a word problem base on this solution
timama [110]
My mom has trouble understanding math... I decided to give her an easy equation. 3/6 km+1/5km = 15/40 +8/40. She asked me what I did. I told her that I multiplied both equations to get a denominator of 40. Then she said "what about those top ones" "oh... well" I said " whatever I multiplied to the bottom I have to do to the top!" Anyway back to the problem. Well... somehow all of this equals 23/40. This is because when you add 15 + 8 that equals 23! So wait a sec what is this on the bottom she asked. well... I am unsure why don't you tell me. She said that the 4 needed to have been added to it.. but the four was too much so they took away one. Good enough! The answer is 3 and 17/40
