I mean, i didn’t read the salem witch trials article. so i can’t give a main idea on it but i can tell u what it was about. basically these two girls of wealthy parents in massachutsetts started to display “unusual behavior” such as tantrums and strange sounds and contortion and al the stuff u would see in demons basically. it start happening to a bunch of people in the town too. so the revered from the town decides that the only explanation for this would be that witches are cursing these women and making them demonic. so a bunch of innocent women were accused of being a witch and they were hanged/crushed/killed in any way possible. it is the most notorious case of mass hysteria in us history.
