The product of any integer (let that any integer be' x') and '-1 ' will be -

if the integer is positive then the integer will be negetive
x \times - 1 = - x

if the integer is negetive then the product will be positive
- x \times - 1 = x

if the integer is 0 then the product will be 0
as any no. multiplied by 0 is 0

0 \times - 1 = 0
