2 ÷ 14 = 0.1428571429 miles per minute

4 ÷ 30 = 0.1333333333 miles per minute

so tony skated faster than terrence

tony because his rate of change is 7. if he skated 4 miles like terrence it will only take him 28 minutes to get to school.
