  • People did not react at all due to the fact that they did not know about the stroke.

President Wilson had the intention of coming back for a third term in office but he was known to have suffered a hard stroke in October 1919.

Due to this stroke, he was incapacitated. His wife and his doctor act so as to control him, His health condition was kept a secret so the people did not know and soo they cannot react to it.
