An eminent result of the 1812 war was the American realization that they could fight and survive a war with European power.

The War of 1812 or otherwise called the Second War of Independence" was the motivation behind the Treaty of Ghent. The arrangement was between the United States and United Kingdom marked on December 24, 1814. Among its conditions were Americans gaining a lot of area. At this treaty, the prewar boundary between the United States and Canada was re-established. The agreement  came about into peace connection between the two nations with prewar regions maintained.

What where the difficulties of colonization

Answer:

There were many things that made the journey/topic of colonization difficult. There was a drought that prevented crops from growing to their fullest. Do to this drought that also made finding/seeking fresh water difficult for the colonists. The main result of the drought however, led to starvation and the drinking of contaminated and bacterial water. Not only the drought, but some colonies went a long a swampy area which led to mosquitoes. The mosquitoes then passed on deadly diseases to the colonists.

Thomas Jefferson believed the future of the United States was in the common man, he leaned more towards sympathizing with farmers. The Louisiana Purchase was approved by Jefferson mostly so that the agriculturally minded could move further West.
