Answer:

C) He pursued a policy of rehabilitation and reconcilitiation.

Explanation:

Wilson outlined his plans for America after World War I through his famous 14 Points speech. In this speech, Wilson called for different efforts by all nations to prevent another world war from happening again. This included freedom of trade, freedom of the seas, and sovereignty for territories that were colonies. His most important point was his last one. The 14th point helped to create the League of Nations. This was an international organization that was created to solve international problems peacefully.

He didn’t want to punish them like the other allies, but he wanted peace. So A is wrong, D is wrong and B seems to be irrelevant. So the answer is C for me.

Which statement best describes the relationship between Belgium and Alsace-Lorraine in the text? A.Neither were occupied by Germ
lidiya [134]

The correct answer is C) Both were areas taken over by a foreign power and will be returned to their previous state.

The statement that best describes the relationship between Belgium and Alsace-Lorraine in the text is Both were areas taken over by a foreign power and will be returned to their previous state.

This is the correct idea because in 1871 Germany invaded this part of France and kept it as its own territory. This was the result of the Franco-Prussian War.

So when World War ended and the parties signed the Treaty of Versailles in Paris, France, in June 1919 to officially end the war. One of the clauses of the treaty establishes that Germany had to return the occupied territory of Alsace-Lorraine to France and as Germans had also invaded some regions of lands in Belgium during World War 1, Germany had also been forced to return those lands to Belgium.

Why did the europeans challenge the catholic church?
Cloud [144]
The Europeans challenged the catholic church because Martin Luth, in the 1500's was against the idea that salvation could be sold. He was also against the idea that the papacy, or church leaders, should be allowed to collect wealth from the people. He drafted up 95 Theses which were nailed to church buildings, as a statement of posturing to show the church his disapproval.

In the space below, write an outline in which you respond to the following prompt:
crimeas [40]

Answer:

Because science, art and culture flourished

Explanation:

The Renaissance is a period of flourishing in the field of culture, science and art, which is characteristic for the period from the end of the 14th to the end of the 16th century. Higher availability of books and study of ancient writers gradually change people's awareness of themselves and the environment that surrounds them.

Numerous wars and an unstable political situation also reflected changes in the Catholic Church whose authority was shaken. Changes were also triggered by geographical discoveries, which, in addition to the exchange of cultures and the development of science, also encouraged eurocentrism, which led to the economic and therefore demographic recovery of the Old Continent at the expense of the New.

Most of the population lives in the countryside, but the population in cities is increasing rapidly. With the greater influx of wealth, the image of society changes with emergence of the middle class and by strengthening the influence of citizenship.
