Answer

a science experiment, the controlled or constant variable is a variable that does not change. For example, in an experiment to test the effect of different lights on plants, other factors that affect plant growth and health, such as soil quality and watering, would need to remain constant. a dependant variable(opposite)would be the properties of the plants themselves, which the scientist is observing in relation to the changing light. These properties might include the plants' color, height and general health of the plant

hope this helped

You are given two solutions containing different purified DNAs. One is from the bacterium P. aeruginosa and has a G + C composit
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

The solution of P. aeruginosa will yield higher Tm value.

Explanation:

The solution of P.aeruginosa contain 68% G+C composition as a result the DNA of P.aeruginosa is more stable than the DNA of mammal contain only 42% G+C composition.G+C composition is most stable because guanine is linked to cytosine by 3 hydrogen bonds whereas adenine linked to thymine by 2 hydrogen bonds.

As  P.aeruginosa DNA is more stable than mammalian DNA,as a result the DNA solution of P.aeruginosa will yield high Tm(melting temperature) value than that of mammalian DNA.

Explain what accounts for the presence of a sound channel in the ocean based on how ocean stratification affects sound travel th
hichkok12 [17]
Water stratification is a phenomenon in which regions of water with different properties, such as salinity, oxygen content, density and temperature, form barriers to mixing of the water.

These barriers also create channels, referred to as sound fixing and ranging (SOFAR) channels. In these channels, the sound has a specified path. It travels slower than normal, but due to reduced dissipation to the surroundings, the sound travels for larger distances.
