It is d=11
because u subtract the negative 64 with a positive for a positive and negative turn 0 then u got to do the same side with -13-(-64)=7d then u add -13+-64=77 after u done that it will be 77=7d divide it by 7 on both side then u get d=11

Step 1: move 64 to a left side, -13 - 64 = 7d

Step 2: -77 = 7d

Step 3: \frac{-77}{7} = d

Step 4: d = -11

Question part points submissions used this exercise involves the formula for the area of a circular sector. find the area of a s
kolezko [41]
The formula for the area of a sector in radians is  A= \frac{1}{2}r^2 \theta,  where theta is the angle in radians.  For us, the formula looks like this:   A= \frac{1}{2}(9)^2* \frac{3 \pi }{5}.  Doing all the multiplication on that gives us  A= \frac{243 \pi }{10}.  Multiplying in pi and rounding to the nearest tenth gives us an area of 76.3 meters squared.  You can use the formula for the area of a sector with the angle in degrees as well.  Just replace the 360 degrees with 2pi and it works the exact same way.

Y-3=-3y-43 how would i solve?
frez [133]

Answer: y−3=−3y−43

Step 1: Add 3y to both sides.

y−3+3y=−3y−43+3y

4y−3=−43

Step 2: Add 3 to both sides.

4y−3+3=−43+3

4y=−40

Step 3: Divide both sides by 4.

Complete the square to solve 4x2 + 24x = 4.
igomit [66]

Answer:

x = - 3 ± \sqrt{10}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

4x² + 24x = 4 ( divide through by 4 )

x² + 6x = 1

To complete the square

add ( half the coefficient of the x- term )² to both sides

x² + 2(3)x + 9 = 1 + 9

(x + 3)² = 10 ( take the square root of both sides )

x + 3 = ± \sqrt{10} ( subtract 3 from both sides )

x = - 3 ± \sqrt{10}
