13). z = ( 9/13)(C)

Solve for C:

Step 1: flip Equation:

9/13 c = z

Step 2: Divide both sides by 9/13

9/13 c/9/13 = z/9/13

C = 13z/9

Answer: Letter Choice, (D), C = 13z/9

12.). Let " h" be the number of hikes:

Expense of First Club:

C * h = 20 + 5h

Expense of Second CluB:

C * h = 7h

20 + 5h < 7h

20 < 2h

h > 10 hikes

Answer: The First Club is Less Expensive, If it is more than Ten Hikes.

14.). Co-Efficient of Friction Formula:

ma = F - mw

+ mw + mw (cancel out +mw)

Mw + ma = F - ma

-ma -ma (Cancel out -ma)

Divide: Both sides by w:

Mw/w = F - ma/w

Therefore, Answer: Letter Choice, (D), M = F - ma/w

Hope that helps!!!! Have a wonderful day!!!! : )

Determine whether the following statement regarding the hypothesistest for two population proportions is true or false.
murzikaleks [220]

Answer:

False

Step-by-step explanation:

Let p1 be the population proportion for the first population

and p2 be the population proportion for the second population

Then

H_{0} p1  = p2

H_{a} p1 ≠ p2

Test statistic can be found usin the equation:

z=\frac{p1-p2}{\sqrt{{p*(1-p)*(\frac{1}{n1} +\frac{1}{n2}) }}} where

  • p1 is the sample population proportion for the first population
  • p2 is the sample population proportion for the second population
  • p is the pool proportion of p1 and p2
  • n1 is the sample size of the first population
  • n2 is the sample size of the second population.

As |p1-p2| gets smaller, the value of the <em>test statistic</em> gets smaller. Thus the probability of its being extreme gets smaller. This means its p-value gets higher.

As the<em> p-value</em> gets higher, the null hypothesis is less likely be rejected.

En un triángulo rectángulo A es un ángulo agudo y Sen A = 4/5 ¿Cuál será el valor de Tan A?
Nonamiya [84]

Answer:

\displaystyle \tan A=\frac{4}{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

Sustituyendo:

\displaystyle cos^2A=1-\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)^2

\displaystyle cos^2A=1-\frac{16}{25}

\displaystyle cos^2A=\frac{25-16}{25}

\displaystyle cos^2A=\frac{9}{25}

Tomando raíz cuadrada:

\displaystyle cos\ A=\sqrt{\frac{9}{25}}=\frac{3}{5}

La tangente se define como:

\displaystyle \tan A=\frac{sen\ A}{cos\ A}

Substituyendo:

\displaystyle \tan A=\frac{\frac{4}{5}}{\frac{3}{5}}

\displaystyle \tan A=\frac{4}{3}

A spinner and 4 cards are shown below:
yan [13]

Answer: 1 over 20

Step-by-step explanation: If the spinner has 5 parts to it at purple is one of those parts then the spinner has a 1/5 chance of it landing there.

If there are 4 cards and 1 of them are pink then there is a 1/4 chance of picking pink(if done randomly)

So if we mutiply 1/4 and 1/5, we get 1/20

That is how I arrived at my answer of 1 over 20
