Reforestation is a process of restocking of previously existed forests or woodland in an area which has been cleared up by deforestation or forest fire.
The plantation of trees which increase the canopy cover of the forest area in the future which is likely to become the habitat for the diversity of faunal species such as animals and birds. The process of reforestation will bring change in the climatic condition of the region as the plants and trees are carbon sinks they will absorb the atmospheric carbon dioxide for the process of photosynthesis. Hence, will help in maintaining the temperature levels and the process of transpiration on large scale will help in causing rain.
They are saying that every theory can eventually be changed a bit due to further research. It does not mean the theory is bad, just that it can become better.
