The most likely cause of an increase in the crime rate from 1920 to 1933 was the introduction of prohibition. Prohibition banned the production and sale of alcoholic beverages. This ban afforded the chance to make alot of money by producing and selling illegal alcohol. Prohibition also saw the huge increase in organized crime.

Why was the war of 1812 the most peculiar conflict in our history? was jr avoidable?
Sauron [17]

Answer:

It was odd because

1) it began after the reason it was started because it didn't exist any more.

Explanation:

The United States won the greatest military success at New Orleans in the War of 1812, on January 8, 1815. A British attempt to gain control of a vital American port was defeated by the Battle of New Orleans and Major General Andrew Jackson promoted to national renown.

Since Napoleon’s defeat in the spring of 1814, the British were free to concentrate on their war in America. With a strategic focus on coastal regions and American trade and transportation, a British army attacked and burned Washington in August, 1814.

Evgen [1.6K]
To domesticate a plant or animal means that you tame it or use it for domesticated purposes. This means they could use it for food or to produce more of the same species to produce food. God's and goddesses that may have to do with this may be ones that deal with any animals and the elements. This allowed people to stay because they could domesticate animals to control food production and this allowed for the development of towns. Less migration would occur for the early humans if they could domesticate plants and animals and this allowed populations to grow as people tamed animals and grew crops.

What was the most likely effect of scarcity on an ancient trade good, such as ivory?
Bezzdna [24]

Answer: Scarcity reduced the supply of ivory.

Explanation:

When a good is said to be scarce it means that the good is not widely available because the supply of the good is limited. Scarcity of ivory therefore reduced the supply of ivory.

Another main effect of scarcity of a good is that the good becomes more expensive. With the supply of a good becoming limited, there will not be a enough for people who want them so the prices will rise as people try to acquire it by paying more than others can afford.
