Answer: for justice

In the statement " Many groups worked diligently for justice", the complete prepositional phrase is "for justice". A preposition presents or shows the relationships of the different elements in the sentence therefore, a prepositional phrase commonly is made up of a preposition and an object of the preposition. In the statement above, the presposition is "for" while the object of the preposition is the word "justice". It is very easy to spot a prepositional phrase because they neither have a subject nor a verb but prepositional phrase adds or leads the readers to more information .

How would ''Girl'' be different if it were called ''Boy''? Discuss the cultural assumptions behind your response.
swat32

The short piece "Girl," by Jamaica Kincaid, is all about the expectations and roles of women, as well as young girls becoming women, in a patriarchal society. If the piece were named "Boy," the expectations and instructions would be completely different, and I suspect, less accusatory and careful.

Hope this helps :)

Why do Abigail and Betty start to name names of “witches”? Does it surprise you that Betty has awakened?
Andre45 [30]

Answer:

Abigail accused Elizabeth as a witch because she wants Proctor to herself. The Proctors were having a discussion about adultery. Ironically, which commandment can John not remember? One shall not commit adultery. John Proctor seems to be the only voice of reason in the confusing end of Act II. What are some examples to support this idea?
