To do the first one, we need to find two points where the coordinates are integers (just for simplicity). First, notice that when x = 0, y is 5, and when x = 1, y = 3. So, graph the points (0, 5) and (1, 3) on the coordinate plane and connect them with a line.

For the second one, I assume you meant to put 14x + 7y = 35. So, to simplify things, let's divide  both sides by 7 to get 2x + y = 5. This is the same one! So, we can go back to out previous answer.

If it wasn't 14x + 7y = 35, I will post the graph to 14 + 7y = 35. Divide both sides by 7 to get 2 + y = 5, or y = 3. So, take two points where x is any number and y is 3, and connect these.

You have to put it in Y=MX+B form, so that mean you subtract the 2x in the first equation and move it to the other side of the equal sign so it will look like this Y=2X+5 and for the second equation you do the same thing and thats your answer

What is the answer to this problem. it must be one of the four choices.
Alenkasestr [34]

The correct answer would be B. 2/(x + 8)

When you are completing composite functions, you place the entire second function in for x in the first function. Since the letter f comes first in f o g. then we start with the f(x) equation.

f(x) = 2/x

Now since g comes next, we take the entire equation for g(x) and substitute it in.

f o g = 2/(x + 8)

This is answer B.
