There are <em><u>12</u></em> students who bring their own lunch

<h3>Further explanation </h3>

Fraction numbers are known as numerators and denominators

On a number line, fractions are expressed in points that lie between two integers

The general form of fractions is

\large {\boxed {\bold {\frac {a} {b}}}

a = numerator

b = denominator

There are 3 forms of fraction

  • 1. proper fraction
  • 2. improper fraction
  • 3. mixed fraction

There are several steps to multiply fractions

  • 1. Multiply the numerators
  • 2. Multiply the denominators
  • 3. Simplify the fraction

For multiplying fractions and whole numbers,

  • 1. Make the whole number a fraction (denominators = 1)
  • 2. Multiplying fractions

The conclusion of possible questions is

From 32 students in a class. 3/8 bring their own lunch.so the students who bring their own lunch:

This includes multiplying fractions and whole numbers:

so make the whole number a fraction

\displaystyle 32=\frac{32}{1}

then multiplying the top (numerators) and the bottom(denominators)

=\displaystyle \frac{32}{1} \times\frac{3}{8}

=\displaystyle \frac{32\times3}{1\times8}

=\displaystyle \frac{96}{8}

=\large{\boxed{\bold{12}}

Can someone help me plz
miv72 [106K]
Set it equal to 260, because thats what they all equal. so then do 260-15 because thats the only price we know, 260-15= 245. then do 245/7=35. each bracelet was 35 dollars. to check do 35*7=245 & 245+15 = 260
