2 bags

7 apples

A) Instead of a lets say:

a = 1, 2 , 3

If a =1 then, (you already know there are 2 bags) you have 1 apple in each bag, making total of 2 apples

If a =2 then you are having 2 apples in each bag making total of 4 apples

If a =3, 3 apples in each bag, making total of 6 apples

Conclusion:

2 * 1 = 2

2 * 2 = 4

2 * 3 = 6

See the difference & pattern here

Now lets do with a

2 * a = 2a

B) If a = 6

then, 2*6 = 12

lets continue from a =3

2*4=8

2*5=10

2*6=12

See the pattern again

Annika bought a tablet online that was 30% off the regular price of $600. If an 8% sales tax was added to the cost of the comput
BigorU [14]
First, find the price of the table after the sale, so
600 x .3 = 180
600 - 180 = 420
Next, find the sales tax
420 x .08 = 33.6
420 + 33.6 = 453.6
Finally, add the shipping
453.6 + 7.5 = $461.1

Solve the following systems algebraically
a. x+2y=17
x-y=2
motikmotik
There are 3 methods to solve this. elimination substitution and graphing but i am going to use the elimination method.
  x+2y=17
  x-y =2
0+3y =15 ( subtracted down to eliminate the x)( x-x=0, 2y-(-y)=3y, and 17-2=15)
3y=15 (divide both sides by 3 to solve for y)
      y=5
substitute the y=5 in any of the above equations and solve for x
ie... ( meaning where you find y in the equation, u replace it with a 5)

it will be easier to solve for x in (x-y=2) so i will use that one.
x-(5)=2 ( add 5 on both sides to solve for x)
x=7

jaime bought a jar of 50 vitamins. his two children each take one vitamin each day. the number of vitamins left in the jar after
Reil [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

f(x) = 50 - 2x

x = 0 when the vitamins are bought and none have been taken 9 that is day 0).

So the intercept on the y axis 50 - 2(0) = 50 represents this situation ( day = 0 and number of vitamins = 50).

When all the vitamins have been taken f(x) = 0 so we have

50 - 2(25) = 0 This is the intercept on the x axis ( x = 25 days).

Please help me with this math problem!! Will give brainliest!! :)
aleksandrvk [35]

Answer:

-3

Step-by-step explanation:

(fg)(-1) is just f(-1) * g(-1). From the graph on the left, we can see that f(-1) is 1, since (-1,1) is on the graph. From the graph on the tight, we can see that g(-1) is -3, since (-1,-3) is on the graph. Now, we just have to multiply 1 and -3: 1*-3 = -3
