Answer:

The wing of butterflies compared to that of birds and bats show analogy.

Explanation:

In the field of biology, analogy can be described as organisms which might have the same function but different biological origin. As we know, all of the flying animals have wings to fly. But all these organisms might not have a common origin. When comparing bats and birds to butterflies, we can see that butterflies have two pair of wings whereas, bats and birds have a single pair. Also, there are many other differences like the wing of a bird has feathers while butterflies do not have feathers.

Do you think a Fungus is more like a plant, or more like an animal? Explain two characteristics of fungi that would support your
Nana76 [90]

I think fungus are more like animals. The best reason for this is their mode of nutrition i.e. they are heterotrophic. Just like animals, they can't synthesize their own food that's why they are dependent on other organisms to obtain their food. Apart from this, fungi have chitin just like animals which is not found in plants. Chitin is a polysaccharide which serves the purpose of cell wall in fungi. Just like fungi, animals belonging to arthropoda phylum of animal kingdom too have chitin layer which serves the purpose of exoskeleton on their body.
