I am going to assume ‘centimetre’ was a typo.

A^2 + B^2 = C^2

C^2 - A^2 = B^2

32 = B^2

Square root both sides

B = 5.7m high

The ladder will reach 5.7 meters high

You receive 15% of a profit from a car wash how many money do you receive from a profit $600?
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

EXPLANATION

If receive 15% of a profit, and considering a total profit of $600, the amount is given by the expression:

Profit = 15% of 600

We must turn 15% into a decimal form by dividing it by 100 as follows:

15/100 = 0.15

So, the computed value is:

Profit = 0.15 x 600 = $90

The answer is $90.

Determine whether the results below appear to have statistical significance, and also determine whether the results have practi
pantera1 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that in  a study of a weight loss program, 4 subjects lost an average of 48 lbs.

It is found that there is about a 32% chance of getting such results with a diet that has no effect.

The results do not appear to have statistical significance.  The reasons are

1) Sample size of 4 is very small not even meeting the bare minimum

2) Sample of 4 cannot be taken to represent the population

3) Whether bias was there in the selection of sample is not known.

4) Std deviation is not considered which is very important while concluding results.

irina1246 [14]

Answer:

Number of different cones made = 18

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Types of cone = 2

Number of flavors = 3

Number of toppings = 2

Find:

Number of different cones made

Computation:

Number of different toppings = 1(peanuts) + 1(sprinkles) + 1(both) = 3

Number of different cones made = Types of cone × Number of flavors × Number of different toppings

Number of different cones made = 2 × 3 × 3

Number of different cones made = 18
