Alliteration is a figurative language that uses words that start with the same letter. "Doubting, Dreaming Dreams; dared; dream." They all start with D. The alliteration definitely makes me pay more attention to the passage. It makes me think more of the meaning of it. It adds something to the passage- and catches the readers eye.

I hope this helps!

Answer: THIS IS THE SAMOLE ANSWER!!!!

I overheard Stephanie and Jenna talking about a celebrity sighting. Jenna's cousin Works in a hair salon in Los Angeles where a lot of actors have their hair styled. Her cousin had a short c h a t with an up-and-coming address, Sandra Connelly. Jenna's cousin. Sandra was very down-to-earth and friendly. I've read the same thing in a celebrity magazine. Since the magazines usually go out of their way to find fault with famous people, I tend to trust this description of Sandra that came from two different sources. If I'd just heard the conversation about her or only read the information, I'd be more skeptical.

Read these stanzas from the poem "Frederick Douglass" by Paul Laurence Dunbar.
kati45 [8]

Answer: Both poems mourn the bravery of one who has died.

Explanation:

Dunbar mourns Frederick Douglass in an elegy depicting him as "a spirit brave" who spoke "fearlessly".

Edna St. Vincent Millay´s poem is an elegy to her mother. She shares a similar message, as she highlights her deceased mother´s courage, which she showed during her entire life, and even at the time of her death.
